The Role
As a 7.5 Tonne Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods to commercial and residential customers across your designated route.
Your duties will include:
* Completing multi-drop deliveries across the local and regional area.
* Loading and unloading your vehicle safely and efficiently.
* Carrying out daily vehicle inspections and reporting any defects.
* Planning and managing your delivery route to maximise efficiency.
* Ensuring all deliveries are completed accurately and on time.
* Obtaining proof of delivery using handheld devices.
* Providing a professional and courteous service to customers.
* Complying with all road transport legislation, health & safety requirements and company procedures.
* Maintaining accurate delivery paperwork and vehicle records.
What We're Looking For
* Previous experience as a 7.5 Tonne Multi-Drop Driver.
* Full UK Driving Licence with Category C1 entitlement.
* Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card.
* Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
* Good geographical knowledge.
* Excellent customer service and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
* Physically fit, with the ability to load and unload deliveries where required.
* Reliable, professional and safety conscious.
