A well-established engineering company is looking for an Account Manager to join their team in Horsham.
This is a permanent, office-based role focused on managing a portfolio of existing customers and converting new enquiries into long-term business. You will be commercially focused, responsive, and able to build strong relationships while driving revenue growth.
The Role
As Account Manager you will:
* Grow revenue across your existing accounts and new leads
* Respond quickly to enquiries and convert quotes into orders
* Proactively manage customer relationships and re-engage quieter accounts
* Identify opportunities to expand business within your customer base
* Maintain accurate records in the CRM
* Work independently and take full ownership of your accounts
What We’re Looking For
Essential
* Minimum 2 experience in B2B sales, account management or technical customer service
* Proven ability to manage and grow both existing accounts and new business
* Strong commercial awareness, including confidence with margins, pricing and lead times
* Good numerical skills and attention to detail
* Stable work history
* Lives within commuting distance of Horsham (or willing to relocate)
Desirable
* Experience selling into industrial or technical markets
* Comfortable discussing technical products and specifications
* Previous use of CRM or ERP systems
