Our client is a well established Architectural Practice working on a variety of large scale commercial and residential projects – such as Co-Living, Mixed Use, Heritage, Education, Hotel and Leisure and Masterplanning.

They are looking for a talented and technically strong Part 2 Architect to join the London office - Revit skills required

Responsibilities as an Architect:

* Preparing and presenting design proposals, including detailed drawings of finished buildings, renovations and restorations

* Meeting with construction professionals and clients to discuss feasibility of designs

* Reviewing local rules and regulations to ensure the construction project falls within all constraints

* Creating detailed drawings and specifications for architectural projects

* Specifying the materials needed for construction of projects

* Working with computer-aided design software to create blueprints and images

* Working with Senior Architect assisting with updates to contractors, surveyors and building service engineers to create a construction schedule and bring the designs to fruition

* Coordinating work between various contractors

* Supervising construction of buildings to ensure projects meet deadlines, stay on budget and adhere to the original vision for the design

* Visiting proposed locations and building sites

Attributes required:

* Good Revit and Graphic Design skills

* Understanding of Construction Technologies

* Attention to detail and design, and the ability to visualise objects in three dimensions

* The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

* Knowledge of building codes

* Registration with the Architects registration board

* Minimum of 3 years combined study and practical experience

* Good communication skills, both written and oral , as interaction with other professionals, authorities and clients will take place on a regular basis

* High levels of creativity

* A logical and practical approach as well as an ability to solve problems

* Time management and ability to prioritise workloads

Qualifications Required

* ARB qualified / registered

Software:

* Must be conversant with Revit

* AutoCAD – not essential

* Graphic Design skills

* MS Project – preferred
