The Opportunity
As Area Manager, you will take full responsibility for the performance, standards, and development of a portfolio of in store sites. You'll lead from the front, inspiring Managers and their teams to deliver exceptional results while maintaining the highest operational standards.
This is a highly visible leadership role where you'll have the autonomy to make a real impact on business performance, customer satisfaction, and team engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and develop a team of Managers to achieve their full potential
Drive commercial performance and ensure regional sales and KPI targets are consistently achieved
Deliver exceptional customer service standards across all stores
Maintain outstanding store presentation and operational excellence
Ensure robust stock management and stock control processes
Champion health and safety compliance across the region
Identify and implement commercial opportunities to increase footfall and sales
Build strong relationships with suppliers to maximise product availability and profitability
Collaborate closely with fellow Area Managers and senior leadership teams to achieve wider business objectives
Support strategic business initiatives and key projects across the region
About You
We're looking for a passionate and commercially driven retail leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
You may already be an experienced Area Manager, Multi-Site Manager, or Cluster Manager looking to take the next step in your career.
You'll bring:
Strong leadership and people development skills
A proven track record of delivering results in a retail environment
Excellent commercial awareness and operational expertise
The ability to inspire, motivate, and influence teams
A hands-on approach with a passion for retail excellence
Experience within food retail, convenience, grocery, hospitality or supermarket sectors is highly desirable, although candidates from other fast-paced retail backgrounds will also be considered
