Art & Design Teacher – Birmingham – Urgent Requirement

Location: Birmingham
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: Full time

TeacherActive is urgently recruiting for a passionate Art & Design Teacher to work within the education setting in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity for a creative and motivated educator who is ready to inspire students and support their development in a vibrant learning environment.

The establishment is seeking an enthusiastic individual who can deliver engaging Art & Design lessons, encourage creativity, and help students build both technical skills and confidence in their artistic abilities.

The Role:

Deliver engaging and high-quality Art & Design lessons to students

Plan and prepare creative and practical learning activities

Support students in developing their artistic techniques and portfolios

Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback

Contribute positively to the department and wider college environment

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Experience teaching Art & Design within a further education or secondary setting

A relevant degree or qualification in Art & Design or a related subject

A recognised teaching qualification (QTS)

Strong classroom management and communication skills

A genuine passion for inspiring creativity in learners
