Due to our continued growth and success, Assure Environmental is currently recruiting for a qualified Asbestos Surveyor to join our team.

Based in Kidderminster and operating nationally we continue to expand our client portfolio and are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and professional individual to join our team. This role will involve working across the UK.

Roles and Responsibilities

Conduct asbestos surveys in accordance with HSG:264 (The Survey Guide), including Management, Refurbishment and Demolition surveys across a wide range of property types

Undertake reinspection audits of existing asbestos surveys (both internal and third-party)

Carry out air monitoring and inspection services linked to asbestos removal works

Supervise asbestos removal projects where required

Maintain high standards of compliance, accuracy and reporting

Person Specification

Candidates must hold, as a minimum:

BOHS P402 (or equivalent)

BOHS P403 and P404 (or equivalent)

In addition, you will ideally have:

At least 2 years’ relevant industry experience

Strong working knowledge of HSG:248 and HSG:264

Excellent communication, client liaison and report writing skills with strong attention to detail

A proactive work ethic and the ability to work independently and as part of a team

A solid understanding of health and safety in asbestos-related works

A flexible approach to working hours (due to national travel)

A full UK driving licence

Good IT skills

What We Offer

Competitive salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications

Use of a pool car for site visits with the option of a company car once probation period is completed.
