ASD Teaching Assistant

The Role
* Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with ASD in Primary or Secondary classrooms
* Support communication, emotional regulation, and social interaction
* Implement personalised strategies, including visual supports and sensory regulation
* Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, therapists, and families
* Promote independence, confidence, and positive behaviour
* Ensure a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment
About You
* Experience working with children or young people with ASD (in primary, secondary, school, or care settings)
* Patient, empathetic, and resilient
* A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Relevant qualifications are desirable but not essential — training can be provided
