Job Title: Assembly - Disassembly Operator

Location: Southam, Warwickshire
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week, and future shift patterns will be implemented

Salary: £27,000 - £30,000 (Depending on Experience)

On behalf of our Client who are committed to delivering high-quality products through efficient manufacturing and refurbishment processes. We are looking for reliable and proactive Assemblers/Disassemblers to join our operations team and support the safe assembly, disassembly, inspection, and handling of products (for example Metal, Magnets, and Batteries)

Key Responsibilities

* Assemble and disassemble products in accordance with company procedures and quality standards.

* Use hand tools, power tools, and equipment safely and effectively.

* Inspect components and identify damaged or defective parts.

* Maintain accurate records of work completed.

* Ensure workstations remain clean, organised, and safe.

* Support stock handling, movement of materials, and preparation of products for production or shipment.

* Work collaboratively with team members to achieve production targets.

* Report any quality, safety, or equipment issues to supervisors.

* Follow all health and safety regulations and company policies.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will be:

* Hands-on and comfortable working with tools and mechanical components.

* Proactive and able to take initiative without constant supervision.

* Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards.

* Physically fit and capable of carrying out manual handling tasks.

* Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.

* A strong team player with a positive attitude.

* Able to follow instructions and work accurately.

Essential Requirements

* Ability to safely lift and move products weighing up to 25kg.

* Ideally previous experience in assembly, disassembly, manufacturing, production, warehouse, or similar hands-on roles.

* Good attention to detail.

* Ability to work safely and follow procedures.

* Basic understanding of mechanical assembly principles.

* Right to work in the UK.

Desirable Requirements

* Knowledge of Electrical/Battery/Electronics.

* Experience using hand tools and power tools.

* Experience working within manufacturing, recycling, refurbishment, or engineering environments.

* Knowledge of health and safety procedures.
