Salary: €90,000 – €100,000 per year + Accommodation + Transport + Rotation 17/4 + €1,300 Net Living Allowance per Month
A leading European contractor delivering large-scale, mission-critical data centre projects is seeking an experienced Authorised Person (AP) – Electrical to join a major site team in Sandviken, Sweden.
This is a critical duty-holder role focused on electrical safety leadership, HV/LV permit control, and the safe energisation and commissioning of complex power systems in a live project environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Implement and manage the project Electrical Safe System of Work (ESSoW)
* Act as the primary electrical safety duty holder across HV/LV systems
* Issue and control Electrical Permits to Work (PTW) for energised activities
* Review drawings, schematics, SLDs, and technical specifications for safety and commissioning requirements
* Prepare switching schedules, isolation procedures, RAMS, LOTO and energisation plans
* Coordinate with Testing & Commissioning contractors to deliver safe energisation sequencing
* Support MV/LV system start-up and energisation in line with approved safety rules
* Witness SAT, pre-energisation and post-energisation testing activities
* Ensure tagging, walkdowns, verification and sign-off are completed before energisation
* Liaise with BMS / EPMS / SCADA / EMS teams for safe operational handover
* Promote best practice electrical safety culture across the site
Essential Requirements
Qualifications
* Degree in Electrical Engineering / Building Services or Electrical Trade background with substantial experience
* Recognised HV Authorised Person certification
* Strong working knowledge of Electrical Safety Rules systems
Experience
* Minimum 5+ years’ experience in AP / Electrical Safety / Energisation roles
* Experience on mission-critical builds (Data Centres, Pharma, Industrial, Infrastructure)
* Proven background in MV/LV switching, isolation, energisation and live environments
* Minimum 3 years in electrical testing and verification
* Strong contractor and commissioning coordination experience
Technical Competence
* Electrical protection and discrimination principles
* Earthing systems, switchgear topology, busbar systems and interlocking
* FAT/SAT documentation review
* Familiarity with BMS, EPMS, SCADA and EMS integration
* Ability to interpret SLDs, schematics, cable schedules and technical data
