Beauty and Nails IQA

We are looking for an experienced Internal Quality Assurer (IQA) to support the quality of teaching, learning and assessment across our Beauty Therapy, Nail Technology and Makeup Artistry programmes.
This is a predominantly field-based role, working closely with our Quality and Operations teams, supporting Tutors and Assessors to meet awarding organisation requirements and deliver high-quality learner outcomes.
Key Responsibilities

Lead Internal Quality Assurance activity across Beauty, Nails and Makeup Artistry provision
*
Plan and carry out interim and summative sampling in line with awarding organisation requirements
*
Complete portfolio sampling, learner interviews, employer feedback and OTLA
*
Support and prepare for External Quality Assurance (EQA) visits
*
Observe Tutors and provide clear, constructive feedback and support
*
Lead standardisation activity and follow up on quality actions
*
Contribute to curriculum development, quality improvement and learner achievement
Essential Requirements
*
IQA qualification (TAQA / V1 or equivalent)
*
Assessor qualification (CAVA / A1 or equivalent)
*
Occupational competence and current industry experience in Beauty, Nails and/or Makeup
*
Strong understanding of awarding organisation and IQA requirements
*
Experience of sampling, OTLA and standardisation
*
Confident using e-portfolios and quality systems
