We are currently recruiting for an experienced Bench Joiner / Workshop Craftsperson to join our workshop team producing high-quality timber components such as benches, tables and cladding for steel furniture

This is a hands-on role suited to a skilled joiner who takes pride in precision work and craftsmanship. You will be working from technical drawings to measure, cut, shape and assemble timber components using a range of woodworking machinery and hand tools.

Key Responsibilities

Read and interpret technical drawings and fabrication plans to manufacture timber components accurately

*

Select and prepare appropriate timber materials for each project

*

Measure, cut, shape and machine timber using a range of workshop machinery and hand tools

*

Assemble timber components for street furniture products

*

Ensure finished products meet high quality standards and specifications

*

Maintain a safe, clean and organised workshop environment

*

Carry out basic maintenance and safe operation of machinery and tools

Requirements

*

Previous experience in bench joinery or workshop-based woodworking

*

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

*

Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship

*

Good numeracy and measuring skills

*

Confidence using woodworking machinery and hand tools

*

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

*

Good awareness of workshop health and safety
