Bid Manager
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the complete bid process across RFIs, RFPs, PQQs, ITTs, ITNs, and client presentations.
* Develop winning strategies, defining persuasive win themes with Key Account Managers.
* Manage virtual bid teams across sales, marketing, finance, legal and project management.
* Influence senior stakeholders to drive aligned, commercially robust decisions.
* Build compliant, competitive commercial models and manage risk.
* Craft engaging, high impact proposals with clear, compelling narratives.
* Set realistic timelines, oversee smooth submissions, and uphold delivery standards.
* Conduct post bid reviews and embed improvements for future success.
Candidate Profile:
* Proven bid management experience in engineering services or nuclear.
* Strong commercial awareness (NEC3/4 exposure desirable).
* Demonstrated track record delivering winning bids.
* Excellent project management, writing, editing and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Highly organised multitasker able to lead multiple submissions under pressure.
* Degree level education (or equivalent experience), APMP Foundation preferred.
* Advanced MS Office capability.
Additional Information: You will require SC clearance for this position. You must therefore currently hold SC clearance or be eligible for it.
The role is hybrid (once a week in the office) and you can choose anyone of these offices as your 'base': Birmingham, Blackburn, Bristol, Derby, Glasgow, London, Newcastle, Oxford, or Warrington
