Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 + Bonus | Company Car | National Role
Our client is an established UK manufacturer specialising in bespoke metal lockers, changing room equipment and innovative smart storage solutions.
This is a newly created opportunity for an ambitious Business Development Manager to take responsibility for developing the company's growing smart locker division.
The Role
* National UK sales responsibility
* Initial sales target of approximately £1m
* Develop new business across the smart locker market
* Identify and develop new commercial opportunities
* Sell innovative smart lockers incorporating integrated screens and app-based technology
* Develop relationships with specialist distributors and furniture fit-out companies
* Build relationships with contractors and key project stakeholders
* Identify new sectors and applications for the products
* Manage the sales process from initial opportunity through to completion
* Develop long-term customer relationships and partnerships
* Drive growth and revenue across the division
Target Markets
* Leisure and theme parks
* Commercial workplaces
* Education
* Emergency services
* Arenas and events
* Changing rooms
* Commercial fit-out projects
The Ideal Candidate
* Proven Business Development or New Business Sales experience
* Strong track record of winning new customers
* Experience selling into contractors and/or fit-out companies
* Commercially driven and proactive
* Confident developing new markets and opportunities
* Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills
* Target driven with a genuine hunger for new business
* Comfortable managing a national territory
* Experience with recurring-revenue products or solutions would be advantageous

Locker or storage experience is advantageous
The successful candidate must be a genuine business developer rather than a traditional account manager or merchant-focused sales professional.
Package
£50,000 - £60,000 basic salary
