Your responsibilities as Butchery Operative

Prepare, cut, mince and dice meat products to required specifications
Package and label products accurately for dispatch
Support weekly sausage production and other batch processes
Maintain high standards of hygiene across equipment, workspace and product
Assist with stock control from goods in through to goods out
Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with food production regulations
What we’re looking for in a Butchery Operative

Previous experience working within food production or a similar environment
Understanding of food hygiene standards and compliance requirements
Ability to carry out manual handling tasks safely and consistently
Comfortable working in chilled environments
Full UK driving licence and access to transport
Experience in packing and sausage making would be beneficial
You will be working 30 hours per week, Monday-Friday, with a degree of flexibility as per the needs of the business.
