Our client, a leading automotive manufacturing business, is looking for an experienced Buyer to join their growing organisation. The successful candidate will have experience working within the manufacturing industry, in a fast-paced procurement role, dealing with many suppliers and commodities.

Job Description

Lead strategic development of functional commodity space
Day to day commercial management of the supplier base
Negotiate prices and contract terms
Manage RFQ to SOP, including NPI
Manage supplier delivery issues /negotiate claims

Essential Skills/Experience/Qualifications

Previously worked within the manufacturing industry, automotive is highly desirable
Well versed working in a Buyer role or similar
Experienced working within a fast-paced environment
