Civil Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Produce civil engineering designs from concept to construction.
Design drainage, external works, levels, earthworks and highways.
Prepare calculations, reports, specifications and design documentation.
Coordinate with structural engineers, architects and contractors.
Support Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategies.
Attend project meetings and provide technical input.
Support site inspections and respond to technical queries.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to design improvements.

Requirements

Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
Experience in civil design within consultancy.
Proficiency in Civil 3D, AutoCAD, MicroDrainage/InfoDrainage.
Strong understanding of UK standards and regulations.
Good problem‑solving and communication skills.
Experience across residential, commercial, industrial or data‑centre projects.
