Apply NowMore Recruitment are working closely with a client who are seeking a skilled and dedicated Class 1 Drivers. The ideal candidates will be responsible for transporting/collecting goods safely and efficiently. The right candidate should be comfortable with Curtain sided deliveries, and general haulage.
Pay rates:
* LTD - £19/ph
* PAYE - 16/ph
Job requirements
* Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe working condition.
* Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours worked and mileage driven.
* Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
* You must have a UK licence with at least 2 years’ experience driving a Class 1 in the UK
* Assist in loading and unloading goods as required.
* Proven experience as a commercial driver or delivery driver is preferred.
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
* Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety protocols.
