Class 1 Driver

Overview

We are recruiting experienced and reliable Class 1 Tramper Drivers for ongoing work with a well-established logistics client based in Sherburn-in-Elmet. Immediate starts are available for the right candidates.

The role involves nationwide deliveries and collections across the UK. A hands-on and flexible approach to work is essential.

Pay Rates

* £16.50 - £18.49 per hour weekdays

* £18.50 - £20.73 per hour weekends

* £25.00 night out allowance

* PAYE only

Responsibilities

* Operate Class 1 vehicles safely and professionally

* Complete nationwide deliveries and collections

* Work with flat and step-frame trailers

* Secure and check loads safely using straps

* Assist with securing straps, unstrapping and unloading where required

* Deliver into busy areas and sites across the UK

* Conduct daily vehicle checks and report defects

* Complete paperwork and delivery records accurately

* Follow all health and safety procedures

Requirements

* Valid UK Class 1 (CE) Licence

* Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card

* Previous Class 1 driving experience

* Experience with flatbed or step-frame trailers preferred

* Experience securing loads with straps preferred

* Reliable and flexible approach to work

* Comfortable with tramping and weekend work
