The Best Connection are currently recruiting Class 1 (C+E) Night Drivers for a well-established automotive logistics company based in Hellaby, Rotherham.
This role involves night-time trunking of automotive parts to RDCs across the UK using a double deck vehicle. Some long-distance travel will be required. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled and reliable drivers seeking adhoc or ongoing work with a reputable company.
🔧 Job Duties:
Night trunking of car parts to RDCs nationwide
Operating a Class 1 (C+E) double deck vehicle
Ensuring loads are safely secured and transported
Working as part of a double-manned team on long-distance routes
Completing all relevant paperwork
Adhering to transport legislation and company procedures
✅ Requirements:
Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence
Valid CPC Qualification
Valid Digital Tachograph Card
Minimum 1 year Class 1 experience
Double deck vehicle experience preferred
Comfortable with night shifts and overnight routes
Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
📅 Shift Pattern:
Working week runs Sunday to Saturday
Approximate start times between 20:00 - 00:00 (midnight)
