Class 1 HGV Driver – Long Haul / Overnight Tramping

We are seeking experienced and professional Class 1 (C+E) HGV Drivers for long-haul overnight tramping work across the UK. This role involves nationwide deliveries, overnight stays in the vehicle, and flexible working hours.

Key Responsibilities

* Carry out long-distance Class 1 deliveries and collections safely and efficiently

* Ensure compliance with all DVSA, tachograph, and Working Time regulations

* Complete vehicle checks and maintain accurate delivery paperwork

* Plan routes effectively and communicate professionally with transport teams and customers

* Take required legal rest breaks before commencing driving hours as normal

Job Details

* Nationwide long-haul and overnight tramping work

* Overnight allowance: £30 per night for sleeping in the vehicle

* Flexible start times and extended driving routes

* Regular nights out required

Requirements

* Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) Licence

* Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card

* Good understanding of drivers’ hours and road transport regulations

* Reliable, flexible, and safety-focused attitude

* Previous long-haul/tramping experience preferred
