URGENT – Class 2 (Cat C) HGV Driver Required – Leicester
Immediate Start – Monday 5:00 AM

Pertemps are urgently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 (Cat C) HGV Driver for a Monday start based in Leicester. This is a fantastic opportunity offering ongoing work with the potential to become temp-to-perm after a successful 4-week trial period.

📅 Schedule

Monday to Thursday – Stay-outs required

Return Friday afternoon

Early starts (5:00 AM)

Paid while on stay-outs

Parking allowance provided

£25 food allowance if parking does not provide meals

🚚 The Role

Driving an 18t curtain-sided vehicle

Multi-drop deliveries

Signing and completing paperwork

Using CX app for deliveries

Operating a pump truck when required

Close and go deliveries

No handballing required (only in worst-case scenarios)

Vehicle checks and compliance with Drivers’ Hours & WTD regulations

✅ Requirements

Valid Class 2 (Cat C) licence

Minimum 1 year Class 2 driving experience

Maximum 3 points on licence

Valid CPC & Digi Tacho

DVLA check required

Safety boots

Good understanding of Drivers’ Hours regulations

Reliable and professional attitude
