The Opportunity
An established precision engineering manufacturer is looking for an experienced CMM Quality Inspector to join their team in Mansfield.
This is an excellent opportunity for a quality professional with hands-on experience using CMM equipment and CMM inspection software to join a busy precision engineering environment, ensuring components meet the required quality standards and specifications.
Key Responsibilities
*
Carry out quality inspections on precision-engineered components using CMM equipment.
*
Operate CMM inspection software to measure and verify component dimensions.
*
Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
*
Use precision measuring equipment, including micrometers, verniers and gauges.
*
Identify and report non-conformances and quality issues.
*
Maintain accurate inspection records and quality documentation.
*
Work closely with production teams to ensure components meet customer requirements.
Requirements
*
Previous experience as a Quality Inspector within precision engineering or manufacturing.
*
Practical experience using CMM equipment and CMM inspection software is essential.
*
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
*
Experience using precision measuring equipment.
*
Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to inspection.
