CMM Quality Inspector

Location: Stonehouse

Shift: Day Shift - Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm

Contract: Permanent | Full-Time

Salary: Up to £37,000 DOE

THOMAS Professional are proud to be recruiting for a CMM Quality Inspector on behalf of a respected engineering business based in Stonehouse. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced CMM Quality Inspector to join a modern manufacturing environment producing high-precision engineered components within a quality-driven setting.

The successful CMM Quality Inspector will play a key role within the quality department, ensuring components meet strict engineering and customer standards through accurate inspection and reporting processes.

Role Responsibilities

Carrying out dimensional inspections of precision engineered components

Operating CMM inspection equipment

Completing first-off, in-process and final inspections

Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications

Using measuring equipment including micrometers, verniers and gauges

Recording inspection results and completing quality documentation

Supporting production teams with quality-related issues

Maintaining high standards of accuracy and attention to detail
The Person

Previous experience as a CMM Quality Inspector within an engineering or manufacturing environment

Experience operating CMM equipment

Aberlink experience would be beneficial

Able to read and interpret technical engineering drawings

Strong understanding of quality inspection processes and measuring equipment

High attention to detail and accuracy

Reliable, motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team
