CNC Machinist - Milling

Role Requirements

to machine components to technical drawings and specifications.

Duties and Responsibilities

Set-up and operate CNC machines.

Manufacture components from engineering drawings, whilst working within company Quality procedures.

Self-inspection of own work.

Preventative & General maintenance checks.

Ensure all HSE legislations are adhered to at all times.

Competencies

Read and understand engineering drawings.

Ability to set and operate CNC machines – Milling

Ability to edit and prove out CNC programs.

Ability to use a range of measuring equipment (micrometers, verniers etc.)

Sound knowledge of geometrical tolerances.

Good attention to detail.

Strong team player with a can do attitude.

Must be self-motivated.

Accountabilities and Performance Measures

Produce components to the correct standards within a timely and efficient manner.

Maintain a high level of housekeeping and follow the 5S program.

Excellent timekeeping and attendance.

Qualifications

Previous experience within the oil and gas industry preferred but not essential.

Minimum 5 years’ experience operating CNC machines.

Must have an Engineering Apprenticeship or similar.

Fanuc experience advantageous.

Qualifications

Technical/other training or better in Engineering or related field.
