Key Responsibilities & Skills
Machining: Using CNC Lathes to machine parts used within the Aerospace, Oil & Gas and Nuclear sectors working with metals such as Inconel (718), stainless steels and titanium etc
Quality Control: Inspecting finished components using precision measuring equipment to meet tight tolerances, often working to AS9100 standards.
Materials: Working with aerospace-grade alloys like Aluminium, Stainless Steel, and Inconel. Role Requirements & Qualifications
Experience: Proven experience in a high-precision CNC turning environment
Controls: Strong working knowledge of either Siemens, Fanuc, Haas, or Mori Seiki controls.
Education: Apprenticeship, Qualification or technical training in precision engineering. * Maintaining high house keeping standards and Health & Safety at all times
The position also includes a bonus of up to 10% circa £4,200 to £4,800
