Experienced CNC Miller required for a permanent role with a medium-sized engineering firm.

Our client, a well-established engineering company, is recruiting a skilled CNC Miller to join their team.

Key Responsibilities – CNC Miller

*

Follow offline programming documentation including job set-up, tooling sheets, and machining methods

*

Change tools/inserts and adjust offsets to maintain engineering tolerances

*

Download CNC programs and save proven files

*

Operate manual machining centres when required

*

Measure and inspect components to ensure accuracy to engineering drawings

*

Identify and report equipment maintenance and repair needs

*

Perform routine equipment maintenance

*

Produce work to the required quality standards while minimising waste

*

Follow written instructions, safe working practices, and maintain a tidy workspace

*

Contribute to continual improvement initiatives for safety, quality, and productivity

Candidate Requirements

*

Minimum 5 years’ experience on multi-axis CNC milling machines

*

Able to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings

*

Experience in small batch work

*

Knowledge of overhead crane and forklift truck safe operations

*

High concentration and focus to meet production targets and deadlines

Hours & Pay

*

Monday – Thursday: 3.00pm to 1.00am

*

36 hours per week
