Location: Redditch

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Hours: Full-time

Salary: £28,000 - £36,000 DOE

Shift Pattern: Day Shift, Monday – Friday

Role Responsibilities

As a CNC Setter/Operator, your responsibilities will include:

Setting and operating CNC lathes and/or milling machines

Producing precision-engineered components to engineering drawings and specifications

Performing tool changes, offsets and machine adjustments

Inspecting components using a range of measuring equipment

Maintaining high quality standards throughout the production process

Completing production documentation accurately

Working to production schedules while ensuring quality and efficiency

Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Working closely with Production and Quality teams to achieve manufacturing targets
The Person

The successful CNC Setter/Operator will ideally have:

Previous CNC Setting and Operating experience

Experience working within a precision engineering or manufacturing environment

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

Experience using measuring equipment such as micrometers, verniers and gauges

Good understanding of machining tolerances and quality standards

Strong attention to detail

Positive attitude and excellent work ethic

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Whether you have experience with Milling, Turning, Fanuc, Haas, Mazak, Siemens or Heidenhain controls, we'd love to hear from you.
