Globetek Precision has a requirement for a CNC Turner, Programmer, Setter, Operator - Fanuc

For the successful CNC Turner, Programmer, Setter, Operator, we are offering:
Competitive Salary - £18.00 - £20.00 Per Hour, Plus Overtime & Benefits
Permanent position
Day shifts Monday - Friday, Early Finish on Fridays
Free Parking
Overtime available
28 days holiday + bank holidays

The Role - CNC Turner, Programmer, Setter, Operator

* Programming, Setting and operating existing products on CNC turning machining machines

* Setting of tools and fixtures, making required adjustments to offsets on all CNC turning machines.

* CNC Machining production batch work

* Set new fixtures and prove out programs for new products on CNC lathes

* Look after the day to day maintenance of the CNC turning centres

* Keep work area and C.N.C clean, tidy and safe at all times

* Possibly using some CMM machines for measurements

* Any other additional duties as requested

What we are looking for in a CNC Turner, Programmer, Setter, Operator;

* Experienced CNC Turner, Programmer, Setter

* Purely working with Fanuc CNC turning machines

* Experience of CNC lathes

* Experience of Fanuc programmes

* Able to work using own initiative to set and operate all CNC machines

* Good interpersonal skills

* Methodical approach to work
