CNC Turner, Setter, Operator - The Role
We are seeking a skilled CNC Turner to set and operate our fleet of modern Mazak Quick Turn lathes. You will work on low-volume, small-batch runs, producing complex, high-precision parts from a wide variety of specialist materials.
CNC Turner, Setter, Operator - Key Responsibilities
* Set and operate Mazak CNC turning centres using Mazatrol controls.
* Interpret complex engineering drawings and geometrical tolerances.
* Machine diverse materials (exotics, titanium, stainless steel, aluminum) to tight tolerances.
* Inspect your own work using manual measuring equipment to ensure strict quality standards.
* Collaborate with the programming team to optimize cycle times and tooling setups.
What We Look For
* Proven track record as a CNC Turner, Setter, and Operator.
* Expertise with Mazatrol controls and Mazak Quick Turn machinery.
* Strong ability to read, interpret, and work from technical engineering drawings.
* Experience working to high-precision, close tolerances (micron level).
* Background manufacturing components for Motorsport, Aerospace, or Medical sectors (preferred).
