Location: Ringwood

Salary: £Dependent on experience plus commission

Hours: 8.30am – 5pm, 1 hour lunch, Monday–Friday; hybrid working 2 days in the office (Tuesday & Thursday), 3 days working from home

To be a consideration for this role, you must have commercial insurance experience and be target driven to achieve results.

Requirements of the Commercial Business Development Executive:

* Commercial insurance experience is essential

* Confident generating new business opportunities and building long term relationships

* Target and sales driven

* Strong account management skills

* Excellent customer service skills

* Strong work ethic

* Professional with strong communication skills

* Proactive

Responsibilities of the Commercial Business Development Executive:

* Proactively generate new business appointments and sales to complement the business plans of the business and achieve individual new business targets

* Self-monitor individual sales activity to ensure all avenues are maximised

* Provide support and business development to a portfolio of accounts to maximise their growth and build long term relationships

* Initiate and conduct marketing campaigns to generate own leads and appointments by a combination of tele-marketing, mailshots, networking and referrals

* Track and monitor progress of each target market project, monitoring conversion rates for leads, appointments, quote and sales activity

* Generate and support target market focus projects

* Support new and existing sales incentives i.e. cross selling, networking and referrals
