Commissioning Engineer
As the Commissioning Engineer you will possess considerable knowledge of working in a technical environment within a high-tech engineering/manufacturing company
Requirements:
Educated to HND level in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
Extensive understanding of mechanical / electrical / electronic build and assembly
Proven experience of commissioning products within a manufacturing environment
Ability to read and understand both electrical, mechanical and pneumatic drawings
Familiar with full range of mechanical engineering materials, finishes and tolerances
Electrical experience of wiring, fault finding, electrical testing practices
Flexible to traveling overseas as and when required
Responsibilities:
Working hands on to test, document and commission products using defined processes
Liaising with build, commissioning and manufacturing engineers, the purchasing team, and other internal functions, as required, to maintain and improve the output of the manufacturing products
Negotiate, schedule and communicate the manufacturing priorities within the team
Ensure that production documentation and instructions are correctly recorded and kept up-to-date
Sharing responsibility for implementing continuous improvements in the product
Involved in the implementation of lean manufacturing philosophies
