Community Care Worker

We are currently recruiting for Carers to join our established team working with vulnerable adults in their own accommodation. We work with over 100 service users ranging from elderly in need of daily support to mental health and learning disabilities in need of more specialist care and attention.

* £13.27 - £14.27 per hour as well as £20.00 per hour on bank holidays

We can employ those without care experience as our onboarding process includes training, shadowing and ongoing, hands-on support. Regardless of your previous experience, Shire can support you transition into a caring role. Of course, we welcome those with experience also!

We can show flexibility with hours and days to suit you. All we ask is you are a driver and have access to a car and can offer at least one weekend day every other weekend.

As a Carer, you will be required to support a mixture of Service Users throughout a day with:

* Personal care

* Medication

* Meal prep and eating

* Shopping and appointments

* Companionship

* End of life care, where appropriate
