About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Interim Corporate Support Manager to provide operational leadership and people management across a Corporate Support function during a period of organisational transition.

This is a key interim role responsible for ensuring the delivery of a consistent, responsive, and high-quality support service. The successful candidate will lead a team of Executive Support Officers and Business Support Officers, providing stability, accountability, and effective day-to-day management.

The role will focus on people leadership, operational delivery, workload management, service improvement, and stakeholder engagement, rather than direct executive support.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead, manage, and support a team of Executive Support Officers and Business Support Officers.

* Take responsibility for team performance, attendance, conduct, capability, and staff development.

* Manage workloads and priorities to ensure effective delivery of corporate support services.

* Act as the escalation point for operational challenges and provide timely solutions.

* Coordinate resources within a matrix management environment.

* Build effective relationships with senior stakeholders and provide support on operational priorities.

* Oversee business support activities including administrative services, travel arrangements, and operational processes.

* Ensure services are delivered efficiently and in line with organisational policies and governance requirements.

* Support continuous improvement and identify opportunities to enhance service delivery.

About You

You will be an experienced people manager with a strong background in corporate support, business operations, administration, or service delivery environments.

You will have:

* Proven experience managing administrative, business support, or corporate support teams.

* Strong experience in people management, including performance, attendance, conduct, and capability processes.

* Experience working within a matrix management environment.

* The ability to manage competing priorities and changing workloads effectively.

* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to work with senior leaders.

* Strong organisational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

Desirable Experience

* Experience working within a public sector, government, or regulated environment.

* Experience supporting organisations through periods of change or transition.

* Relevant management qualification or equivalent professional experience
