Cover Supervisor

We are recruiting enthusiastic and motivated Cover Supervisors and Sports Coaches to work across a range of secondary schools in Coventry, Coventry and throughout Warwickshire, Warwickshire.

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals looking to gain long-term experience in schools, with clear pathways into teacher training or a permanent career in education. Whether your background is in sport, coaching, youth work or education, this role offers valuable classroom and behaviour management experience.

The Role Will Include:

Supervising whole classes during teacher absence

*

Delivering pre-set lesson materials across a range of subjects

*

Leading PE lessons and sports sessions (where applicable)

*

Managing classroom behaviour effectively

*

Engaging and motivating students in learning

*

Supporting schools on a daily, short-term or long-term basis

Requirements:

*

Minimum 6 months’ experience teaching, coaching or leading groups of 20+ young people

*

Confident managing behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment

*

Strong communication and organisational skills

*

Adaptable, reliable and professional approach

*

A degree is desirable (particularly for those considering teacher training)
