The Role

Working closely with the Nursery Manager, you will help oversee a small team and maintain high standards of care. Your daily duties will include:

* Supporting the smooth, day-to-day running of the nursery.

* Providing guidance, leadership, and motivation to practitioners.

* Building strong, professional relationships with parents and families.

* Helping staff with daily routines, room practice, and EYFS delivery.

* Ensuring all safeguarding policies and nursery procedures are strictly followed.

* Stepping up to take responsibility for the setting in the Manager’s absence.

About You

We are looking for a calm, organised, and reliable professional who leads by example. To be successful, you will need:

* A full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (or higher).

* Previous leadership experience in a nursery setting (e.g., Room Leader, Senior Practitioner, Third in Charge, or Deputy Manager).

* Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding regulations.

* Excellent communication skills, fluent spoken and written English, and a professional attitude.

* You must have the right to work in the UK (sponsorship is not available).

* Additional language skills in Spanish, Portuguese, Mandarin, Cantonese or Turkish are highly valued to support a diverse community.
