An innovative and high-performing specialist secondary school in East London is seeking a qualified Teacher of Design Technology with strong experience in Resistance Materials / Woodwork to join their team from January.
The school has a strong focus on design, engineering and technical education, working closely with industry partners to deliver a practical, real-world curriculum. Students are motivated, ambitious and engaged, with excellent facilities that support high-quality DT teaching across all key stages.
The successful candidate will teach Design Technology across Years 9–13, delivering engaging, hands-on lessons that inspire students and prepare them for further education and technical careers.
The ideal candidate will:
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Have secondary teaching experience
* Have strong experience teaching Resistance Materials / Woodwork
* Be confident teaching KS4 and KS5 (Years 9–13)
* Have the right to work in the UK
Both full-time and part-time applications will be considered.
