This is an opportunity to join a well-established manufacturing business where safety, quality, and continuous improvement are taken seriously. You’ll work closely with the EH&S Manager and wider teams to drive standards, improve systems, and ensure compliance across the site.
The Role
You’ll play a key part in supporting and developing EH&S systems, while working closely with teams across the business to embed a proactive safety culture.
Day to day, you will:
Support the development and implementation of EH&S policies and procedures
Provide hands-on advice to teams to ensure compliance with legislation and best practice
Lead and support internal audits, risk assessments, and improvement actions
Assist with incident investigations and root cause analysis
Deliver EH&S training, toolbox talks, and guidance across the site
Support the development of risk registers and compliance tracking
Help drive continuous improvement initiatives across the business
What We’re Looking For
Experience in an EH&S role within a manufacturing environment
NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent)
Good understanding of UK EH&S legislation (COSHH, PUWER, DSEAR etc.)
Experience working with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards
Strong communication skills and the ability to engage at all levels
A proactive, hands-on approach with a genuine interest in improving safety
