Electrical Design Engineer

£40,000 - £45,000 + c15% bonus + c15% overtime + travel allowances + healthcare.

Electrical Design Engineer – The Role:

Designing MCC panels
Producing I/O configuration & lists
Producing material specifications & bills of materials
Produce cable lists, sizing calculations & update building layout drawings
Design cable routes
Calculate containment size
Writing risk assessments & method statements
Perform electrical testing & fault finding on site
Electrical Design Engineer – The Person:

Engineering qualification within a relevant field
Background in electrical design CAD package – EPlan ideal however training will be provided if you have experience of AutoCAD or AutoCAD Electrical
Ideally have a solid knowledge of electrical regulations & safety standards
Located in Cambridgeshire, ideal commutable locations would include Kettering, Corby, Peterborough, Northampton, Cambridge, Bedford & Kings Lynn

Role would also suit a Design Engineer, Electrical Project Engineer or an Electrical Engineer with experience using an electrical CAD package.
