Electrical Installation Supervisor (Near Reading)

I am looking for experienced Electrical Installation Supervisors to join a high-performing engineering team delivering cutting-edge control systems.

The Role

This is a hands-on, site-based role for a proactive problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll take ownership of projects from survey through to installation, commissioning, and support — ensuring everything is delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.

* Lead and supervise electrical installations on client sites

* Survey, install, commission, and support control systems

* Work predominantly on electrical systems with some exposure to PLCs (training provided)

* Ensure projects are delivered on time and to spec

This role involves UK travel (typically within 3 hours). Some overnight stays are required (~20%), with accommodation provided where needed.

Hours: Full-time, 45 hours per week (Monday–Friday)

What We’re Looking For

* Minimum 2 years’ electrical supervisory experience

* Relevant electrical qualifications (C&G, NVQ Level 3, ONC/HNC/HND)

* 18th Edition (BS7671) essential

* ECS Gold Card (or able to obtain)

* SSSTS/SMSTS (desirable)

* Background in installation, maintenance, or service environments

* Experience with control panels, commissioning, or PLCs (advantageous)

* Knowledge of EPlan, AutoCAD or similar (beneficial)

* Strong communication skills

* Full UK driving licence

* Right to work in the UK
