Salary: £52,000 per annum + Overtime Opportunities
Shift Pattern: Continental Shift (Days & Nights, 7:00am – 7:00pm / 7:00pm – 7:00am)
The Role:
We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Shift Engineer to join a leading facilities team based in the City of London. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer looking for a stable role with strong earning potential, ongoing training, and clear career progression into supervisory and management positions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance
* Working on lighting systems and emergency lighting
* Maintaining and fault-finding on power distribution systems
* Servicing and maintaining fire alarm systems
* Working on AHUs (Air Handling Units) and FCUs (Fan Coil Units)
* Diagnosing and repairing faults across a range of electrical systems
* Working with 3-phase systems
* Carrying out electrical fault finding and repairs
* Ensuring all work is completed in line with health & safety regulations
Requirements:
* Fully qualified electrician (City & Guilds / NVQ or equivalent)
* Experience in a commercial building services environment
* Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
* Knowledge of building systems including AHUs, FCUs, and fire alarms
* Ability to work effectively as part of a shift team
