Electrical Technician
Key Responsibilities:
Working within a team or on an individual basis
Cable assembly and looming using lacing and other cable accessories
Assisting with the wiring of sub-assemblies/enclosures to process instructions
Maintaining good housekeeping practices
Working safely within an ESD protected area
Maintaining and using tooling, including shadow boards
Ensuring good communication with all levels of staff
Being self-motivated and able to work on own initiative
Job Requirements:
Proficiency in prototype and panel wireman tasks
Experience in manufacturing cable assemblies and harnesses to high standards
Understanding of MOD and IPC620 standards
Experience working with electronic systems and hardware within the Defence sector
Good knowledge of company standards and procedures
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Good communication skills at all levels
