Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to work on high-profile commercial and residential projects, often within occupied buildings. The role involves installing, maintaining, and fault-finding electrical systems while ensuring all work complies with safety standards and regulations.

This position suits a technically strong, client-facing electrician with excellent communication skills who can work both independently and as part of a team. Reliability, flexibility, and initiative are essential.

Key Responsibilities

* Install electrical systems in accordance with 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671)

* Install and maintain lighting, small power, wiring, and containment systems

* Diagnose and fault-find on existing electrical installations

* Conduct site surveys independently or with clients to determine requirements

* Provide survey information and technical assessments to Contracts Managers

* Maintain high standards of workmanship to support repeat business

* Build and maintain positive relationships with clients

* Identify opportunities or issues to raise with clients and project teams

Knowledge & Experience

* Electrical installation experience in commercial and/or residential environments

* Working knowledge of IEE Wiring Regulations

* Familiarity with lighting control systems (e.g., DALI, Exor)

* Understanding of NICEIC requirements

Qualifications

Essential:

* BS7671 – 18th Edition

* City & Guilds Electrical Qualification

* City & Guilds 2391 – Inspection & Testing

* CSCS Card

* Electrical Apprenticeship (preferred)
