Electronics Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop high-speed digital circuits including processors and programmable devices.
Design analogue circuits and switched-mode power supplies.
Utilise schematic capture tools and enforce layout constraints using rules, classes, and groups.
Develop large, complex designs requiring multi-layer PCBs and PCB stack-up design.
Create and edit schematics using Altium software.
Deliver multiple, concurrent programmes ranging from research to production.
Job Requirements:
Degree in an engineering, mathematical, or science-based subject or equivalent experience.
Proficient in high-speed digital design.
Experience in analogue circuit and switched-mode power supply design.
Competence with schematic capture tools and layout constraints.
Experience in multi-layer PCB design.
Ability to create schematics using Altium.
Desirable Skills:
Experience in signal integrity analysis on routed PCBs.
Knowledge of power distribution and thermal aspects of PCB design.
Experience with Gerber file and ODB++ manipulation.
Ability to perform complex layouts using Altium or PADs.
Capability to create schematics using PADs.
Experience using Windchill for version control
