Employability Tutors – Level 1
College Dagenham & Stanford Hill Immediate Start Agency Role

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a College in Dagenham for 2 Employability Tutors to deliver Level 1 Employability programmes.

Start Date: 02/03/2026

Role Overview

Job Title: Employability Tutor
Level: Level 1 Employability
Start Date: 2nd March 2026
Teaching Hours: 20 hours per week
Delivery Schedule: 5 hours per day
Contract Duration: Short-term delivery blocks (details below)
Location: Dagenham & Stanford Hill Delivery Schedule

Cohort 1 – Dagenham

3 weeks of delivery
Commencing either week beginning 2nd March or week beginning 9th March
Delivery every day except Wednesdays
5 hours per dayCohort 2 – Stanford Hill

Commencing mid-April (exact date TBC)
Delivery Monday–Thursday plus Friday morning
5 hours per dayThe Role

You will be delivering engaging and structured Level 1 Employability sessions to learners, supporting them in developing:

Workplace readiness skills
CV writing and job search techniques
Interview preparation
Communication and teamwork skills
Professional behaviours and personal developmentThe successful candidates will be confident managing groups, promoting engagement, and supporting learners with varying abilities to progress positively.

Essential Requirements

Teaching qualification (mandatory) – e.g. AET, PTTLS, Cert Ed, PGCE or equivalent
Experience delivering Employability or vocational programmes
Experience teaching Level 1 learners
Strong classroom management skills
Fully compliant and available for an immediate start
Female tutors required for this cohortThis is an excellent opportunity for experienced Employability Tutors seeking short-term, structured delivery blocks within a supportive college setting.
