In this role, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality English lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. You will play a key part in inspiring students, supporting their academic progress, and fostering a love for English within the classroom. You will also contribute to the continued development of the English department, working closely with colleagues to share best practice and enhance the curriculum.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging, creative and effective English lessons across KS3 and KS4
Assess, monitor and report on student progress in line with school policies
Differentiate teaching to support students of all abilities and backgrounds
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation
Contribute to the ongoing development of the English curriculum
Work collaboratively with colleagues and actively contribute to the wider school community
Uphold high standards of behaviour and classroom managementThis role would suit a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher who is committed to making a real difference to students' learning experiences and outcomes.
