ESOL Tutor

As an ESOL Tutor, you will provide 1:1 support to pupils across Birmingham who speak English as an additional language. You will help improve their English skills, build confidence, and support their progress in education.

This role is ideal for an experienced ESOL Tutor, Teacher, or Teaching Assistant who is passionate about helping young people succeed. Many pupils may be new to the UK education system or require additional support to access learning.

Prospero Teaching will provide ongoing support throughout your placement.

Location - Birmingham

Contract type - Temporary
Hours - Part-time (up to 15 hours per week per student)
Rate of pay - £22+ per hour
Duration - Ongoing

Requirements

Experience teaching or supporting ESOL learners
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Ability to adapt lessons to individual needs
Right to work in the UK
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
