Apply NowOn behalf of a well-established local client, I am recruiting for an Estimator to join their Product Management team.
The Estimator is responsible for producing accurate product costings, maintaining Bills of Materials (BOMs), supporting ERP administration and ensuring product pricing remains commercially competitive and profitable.
Main Duties
* Produce accurate costings for new and existing products.
* Generate quotations for bespoke and standard products.
* Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs).
* Create and maintain product codes within the ERP system.
* Maintain material, labour and supplier cost databases.
* Update product pricing and margin calculations.
* Analyse engineering drawings and manufacturing processes.
Requirements
* Experience in a similar role within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
* Ability to read engineering drawings.
* Strong numerical and analytical skills.
* Good Excel knowledge.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
* UK DVLC
Hours are Mon-Fri 9-5, generous benefits are on offer and the company offer a modern, friendly working environment.
