Event Organiser / Manager (part time)
They currently seek a highly organised Events Assistant / Manager to help plan and run a wide range of successful events and duties will include:
* Take responsibility for organising and executing events from initial planning through to delivery, including scheduling, logistics and operational arrangements.
* Act as the central point of communication for clients, partners, speakers and sponsors throughout the event process.
* Guide, brief and support the wider events team to ensure everyone understands their roles and responsibilities.
* Oversee all event‑related communications, such as invitations, email updates, promotional materials and content creation.
* Manage the needs of sponsors and attendees, ensuring their expectations are met and information is accurately captured.
* Handle financial elements of events, including budget oversight, invoicing procedures and compiling post‑event summaries or reports.
* Work closely with venues and external suppliers such as catering, audio-visual teams and setup crews to coordinate event requirements.
* Keep comprehensive, up‑to‑date records while maintaining full compliance with data protection standards.
Required experience:
* Demonstrated background in delivering events / programs or projects from concept to completion.
* Strong organisational abilities, excellent communication and effective stakeholder engagement.
* Approaches work with a proactive mindset, collaborates well with others and pays close attention to detail.
* Comfortable working with event software, registration platforms and digital event tools.
* Comfortable monitoring event finances and tracking expenditure.
* Capable of balancing multiple priorities, deadlines and workstreams at once.
This a part time, primarily remote role with some / minimal expectation of meeting and event attendance. The role can offer flexible working plus overtime during busy periods plus the opportunity to work on high profile events in a friendly environment
