About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and inclusive school community. This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with pupils who require additional support to achieve their full potential, both academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEN, including those with ASD, ADHD, speech and language needs, or SEMH challenges

Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities

Support pupils with their emotional regulation and social development

Implement and contribute to Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and EHCP targets

Foster a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment

Monitor and record pupil progress, providing feedback to staff and parents where appropriate

Requirements:

Proven experience working with children with special educational needs

A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures

Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3, or equivalent) are desirable

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
