Our client is a well-established, family-run fabrication business based in Sunderland. They specialise in the manufacture of high-quality fabricated products, primarily producing frames of various sizes along with structural and modular components. The Role

We are looking for an experienced Fabricator to join the workshop team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating a range of frames and structural components to engineering drawings, working with a variety of materials including box section, I-beams, and flat bar.

Key Responsibilities

Fabrication of frames and structural/modules to drawings and specifications

Working with materials such as box section, I-beams, and flat bar

*

Assembling and fabricating components accurately

*

Ensuring high standards of quality and workmanship

*

Working independently and as part of a close-knit workshop team

*

Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Essential Skills & Experience

*

Proven experience as a Fabricator

*

Ability to MIG weld a bonus

*

Strong experience working with box section, I-beams, and flat bar (essential)

*

Ability to read and work from engineering drawings

*

Good attention to detail and accuracy

*

Reliable, hardworking, and team-focused
